Stop starting your presentation with the word "so" or with the phrase "thank you for having me here." Or... the sentence "I'm really happy to be here today. or... "Before we get started I need to let you know where the bathrooms are."

Just remove the word "so" and instead say: "I'm going to talk about public speaking skills."
