Passover, Easter, and More

There are many different holidays, many different religions, and many different people in this world. In every one of your presentations, there are many different people in your audience. Each time you give a presentation, you are most likely giving it to different people. So there are many different people in the audience at once, and each time you present, there are different people from before. Does that sound confusing?

What the heck is my point? My point is, that because everyone is different, and every audience is different, when it comes to effective public speaking skills your presentations need to be different. Your content needs to be modified to fit who you are speaking to if you want to have impact and get greater results from your audience members.

For example, if your audience is mainly quiet and subdued, but you are a very animated, loud, and sometimes obnoxious presenter, then you will need to tone it down, big time!

If it's the other way around where your audience is loud and vibrant, and you are someone who presents pretty mellow, you need to take it up a notch or two.

Recognize that your audiences are different and do what you can to communicate at their level while still remaining true to yourself.
