PowerPoint Puts Them To Sleep

I was having a conversation with Jana Christi about PowerPoint. We were talking about how PowerPoint does not keep your audience engaged and then she said something that I thought was worth blogging about: "I remember back in school during a presentation, when it was time for the slides, it was time to go to sleep." That's because, they would turn off all the lights.

Use PowerPoint only if you really have to and when you do, keep the lights on so your audience will stay awake, alert, and alive.
